 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I'd give them 10 Stars if permitted! Forget the long waits at the dealership, high costs and being "just another customer". If you are lucky enough to own a German made car take it straight to Kris, Nick and their excellent technicians at Ottohaus. These folks are the experts when it comes to knowing German cars. I checked with several places to try to get this done, to no avail. Ottohaus took care of the problem in less than 15 minutes for me. These people know what to do when others don't. And to top it off, they're very nice people.

I brought my SQ5 3.0L T in for a routine engine coolant flush and they did an inspection and found the dreaded coolant migration issue due to a faulty water pump. The mechanic took time to explain the issue in great detail. I then did some research and found this is somewhat common on this engine variant while very expensive due to labor intensive disassembley and reassembley the team at Ottohaus West Ashley were very thorough and took great care of my vehicle. Truly a great experience all together. I highly recommend this team for whatever your European vehicle may need. True professionals through and through. I showed up on time for my appointment and they completed an exhaustive repair on time and on budget.

Nick had great communication with setting up a service appointment and providing notifications and information through the service of my TDI! They are very professional in the shop and did an awesome job getting my timing belt and water pump done quickly and at a great price! It is currently out of state being worked on after breaking down on the interstate. We called Chris to ask his advice and talk us through our options. He was extremely helpful and kind. Our car is not even with him, but he was willing to take the time to talk everything through with me. Service here is 10 out of 10. While we don’t currently offer loaner vehicles, we do provide convenient after-hours drop-off and pick-up options. We have secure drop boxes for your keys, allowing you to drop off your vehicle outside our regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) at our Charleston location. This flexibility ensures our service fits your schedule, not the other way around.
